I've read other negative reviews on this organization regarding discrimination on age of adopters....just WRONG! I did not want that. However, the younger volunteer at the Petco was extremely rude and not helpful. Support Adoption and Rescue.
The foster mom was also very nice and really cared about the cats in her care and wanted them to go to the best homes possible. According to her, I should only take a senior cat because older cats are "slow" without regard to my cat's actual energy level and personality. The other weird thing is how selective they are with who gets the cat. We showed up at a rescue event at Petsmart and found our first baby. The cat selection is great!
They expect ALL adoptions to be indoors only and will NOT approve the adoption if you tell them otherwise. The Rescue House was very helpful in helping me adopt our cat! This was to ensure he would be a good fit for our family. He's now a full grown cat and like they say "two is better than one". Love The Rescue House and their adoption process. We were able to interact with them in the cages.
She is perfect.Three weeks prior I had brought home a kitty from another organization. Search for cats for adoption at shelters near San Diego, CA.
It was not a good match and they did not want to come get the kitty but I insisted after I was bitten and scratched trying to get her into a carrier. Like it's better for this cat to NOT get adopted? PetBasics,

Then to say that if they find out the cat was allowed out doors (after they said it is not allowed)they will pick up the cat and fine you $1000??

I feel that person was irresponsible and would never recommend that organization.I appreciate the rescue house and their thoroughness and I will support.
