To kick start the new year, the BBC has unveiled a list of new dramas it has in the pipeline, and we’re totally spoiled for choice. Line of Duty (BBC One) The series five finale was the most watched TV show of 2019, so expectation is naturally high for the sixth series of Jed Mercurio's police drama. Industry (BBC) Air date: Autumn 2020 Eight-part drama Industry follows a cohort of ambitious twenty-somethings as they join a top investment bank in London in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis. From Star Trek: Picard to Avenue 5, and Dracula to Normal People, Eddie Mullan rounds up the most exciting programmes coming soon to the small screen. Written by first-time author Tony Schumacher, the show will be based on the former policeman's real life experiences as an urgent response officer, as he tackles a series of six night shifts on the beat in Liverpool.
